I've acquired the 40fps patch for the base game recently, so if 60fps won't operate on my PC, surely a fair 40fps will do

Yes! I just did the Wo Chien event twice. Up next is Shiny Chien-Pao, Shiny Ting-Lu, and Shiny Chi-Yu all through September 14, 2025. I've also been doing the shiny wild raids available until like Aug 5th, so I'm a happy camper.
