Sonic Superstars | Nintendo Direct Trailer
A new trailer for Sonic Superstars was shown during today's Nintendo Direct, and although nothing notably new was shown we did at least get a little extra insight into the powers of the blue and purple Chaos Emeralds.

So disappointing how they just can't make a Sonic game be good still, they really need to hire the people who remade Sonic'06 called P-'06 into an actual good game, I watched a video on it a while ago.

It sounds like the fan rework to Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness that I think is still ongoing that has apparently really revamped that game, although I haven't ever looked into it.

A ground-up style done in Unity with changes made to make it play and look better from day setting to gameplay.
This is the video I watched a while ago about it, the first 8 minutes gives you the gist of it then after goes into the story sections and some more.

Sonic the Hedgehog Added to GPS App Waze as a Sidekick
Users of the GPS navigation app Waze can now select Sonic the Hedgehog as a sidekick character. Sidekicks are basically celebrity voices that replace the standard voice navigation while driving. So yes, this means Sonic will give you directions while you drive.
According to Waze, Sonic will say such lines as “alright, let’s roll, keep your eyes on the road, never know when a loop-de-loop or spike trap will be in the way” and “turn right, excellent handling, no notes from me whatsoever”.
The collaboration also lets users replace their in-app car icon with the Speedster Lightning car from Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and replace their driver avatar with a Sonic face.
Okay, I think this is actually pretty cool. I thought it was gonna just be a voice swapper but it looks more like this feature can actually replace voice lines outright to be more thematic to the character you pick.
