The Traitors

RE: Current/Last Thing You Watched? - Mr EliteL - Jan 3rd, 2026

I watched The Traitors too, the first showing of it on Thursday evening after me and my sister helped my Dad and we saw it at his for something to do. It's quite like a real life gameshow version of Among Us. I'm not fully invested in it but I liked the castle setup and the cloaks for the Traitors when they meet up. XD

Yeah, I've watched several versions of the show, and I think the UK version is the best one presentation-wise. (Well, tied with the US, but only because they copied the UK setup: it's even filmed at the same castle Tongue )

As for the last thing I watched: I'm currently watching a game show called "The Floor". There's a 9x9 grid with 81 contestants, each with a specialist subject. A contestant is picked to challenge one of their neighbours on their specialist subject - and, whoever loses the challenge is eliminated. This continues until there's only one winner left.

It's an interesting contest - but, nobody's beaten anyone else at their own specialist subject yet, so I have to wonder how well-balanced it is!

Seems rather broken as the number of contestants dwindles down. I expect someone winning by actually beating someone else to be as rare as someone actually beating the final challenge in Takeshi's Castle. Hmm

Last thing I watched was the Resident Evil 9 Showcase that was on a few hours ago. Didn't really reveal much and seemed more like a glorified ad for everything but the actual game. Errm

Watched The Marvels film with my sister and Dad on Monday. My sister keeps getting the bunch of MCU movies she hasn't seen, and this was one I wouldn't have cared if I saw it or not. It was ah....well the switching positions during fighting between the three leads was slightly interesting, that's about it. XD

The Traitors.

I'm not going to spoil what happened, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet - but, I was happy with the ending Grin !

Okay, maybe I'll put it in spoiler tags:

For The Traitors, I didn't watch to the end. My last episode was way back when a bunch of the contestants were to be trapped in cages, then a number are saved but the remaining ones are up for being removed from the game. I went and watched some clips just now to see how the end and such went.

Francis Bourgeois: Rocket Man

This is one of those programmes that looks like it's made for me Tongue . It's a two-parter in which Francis Bourgeois (an online trainspotter) goes into space. As part of this, we get to see his training, as well as the flight itself, and what that involves.

I've only seen the first part, but so far, he's already experienced weightlessness - which it seems was both painful and exhilarating!

Tekken World Tour Finals 2025 Last Chance Qualifier

It ran most of the day, I tuned on my phone here and there, but watched more towards the end. I was rooting for Jeondding (Eddy player), but he was knocked out. Top 8 was when I was watching more, some very good matches. Loser's Final was between two of the best Yoshimitsu's, and probably the best mirror match I've, so I had to root for the winner of that for the Final. Yes even over a King player who waited in the Final, both matches were very close.

Will try and watch the proper Final tournament tomorrow.

I watched the second part of this.

He ended up not going into space in the end - but, in the process of training to go into space, he did learn an awful lot (in particular, about how dangerous it was).

To be fair to him, I'm confident I would end up making the same decision. Space travel isn't for the faint of heart!

I didn't know this was even a thing happening, although as I'm watching this I can't say I could probably stomach going here. It's a bit too campy/kid-oriented for me I think. XD

j0rts and him testing out his Randy (Waluigi) bot in games.

Then the above video on the PokéPark briefly. I don't mind the place really, neat how the models are seemingly, I'm assuming, 1:1 of their canon sizes. There's so many Pikachu's, oh my. The forest being like a wild area as you walk through it. The legendary birds at the start and Primarina fountain not being coloured looked odd at first but they're like statues instead of looking like they're "alive" like the other models. I'd actually would dislike a PokéPark outside of Japan though, I can just imagine ingrates dropping trash, ruining things or trying to steal models, especially at night. Though that may still happen at this one, there should be more people being respectful towards this particular park.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

I watched this with my girlfriend earlier today. I hadn't seen the first one, so I didn't fully understand everything - but it was fun, and I would like to see the next one in the series when it comes out next year!

You should definitely check out the first one. It's very good, especially in terms of the animation (which you probably saw with this movie if they stuck to the same styles).

Last thing I watched was this majestic masterpiece:

I saw one person describe it as "the two types of autism", although I don't know how accurate that is. Tongue
