RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Dragon Lord - Feb 16th, 2026 Waiting On The Sky To Change - Starset feat. Breaking Benjamin RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Moonface - Feb 19th, 2026 The Logical Song - Scooter Didn't intend to listen to this but someone referenced it in a comment direct linking to the music video and I had to click it to know if they were referencing what I thought they were. I was curious why Siberia is brought up in the song and thought maybe Scooter are from there, but nope, they're German. This song's B-side is called Siberia though so I guess that may be why, but then again it could just be they called that other song Siberia because of this song?
RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Mr EliteL - Feb 19th, 2026 Jean Michel Jarre - Waiting For Cousteau (album) Really good album, a party/Carousel like track, then two gradually slowing down tracks into a chill 46 minute long track. RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Moonface - Mar 2nd, 2026 Sinner - Judas Priest I should really check out any of their other songs. I have quite a lot of artists on my Spotify where I have one song of theirs in my liked songs and have never gone to see if there's other songs from them that I would also like.
RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Maniakkid25 - Mar 2nd, 2026 Don't Say You Love Me -- M2M Another one of those "Holy fuck I haven't thought about this song in decades", anybody else remember this banger from the Pokemon: The First Movie soundtrack? No? Just me? That's probably because it didn't actually play in the movie; I think it was relegated to the credits. Either way, what's even more amazing is that the soundtrack version is somehow censored?! Yeah, the album version has the line "you're kissing me", and they replaced that with "you saying that you love me". The song was already kid-friendly, and they seriously thought they needed to do that?! Now I wanna listen to some Vitamin C. She had a song on that soundtrack, too. And it even played during the movie. RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Maniakkid25 - Mar 6th, 2026 Sorry for the double post, but I just had to share this. Can't Stop -- Kasane Teto (originally by Red Hot Chili Peppers) Wasn't looking for it. The Algorithm is working as intended, once again. But this cover is actually REALLY good. Like, I was expecting a meme, and this was WAY better than it has a right to be. Also, Kasane Teto's voice is different than what I remember. Maybe her English Voicebank is different from her Japanese one. *Shrug* Good song, though. Give it a listen. RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Moonface - Mar 11th, 2026 Kittens - Underworld RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Kyng - Mar 15th, 2026 Room 101, with Paul Merton. For anyone who's not aware, this is a radio show where a guest has to explain which people, places, and things they would like to consign to the proverbial Room 101, so that the rest of the world never has to deal with them again .In the episode I listened to, Jack Dee was the guest. He consigned quite a few things to Room 101 - including Glastonbury; electric cars; and words that nobody can agree how to pronounce! RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Maniakkid25 - Mar 17th, 2026 Master of Puppets -- Conhuir So one day, when the Algorithm was working as intended, a video crossed my feed that I had to hear for the joke. It's Metallica's Greatest Hits... as Funk tunes. Now, this is obviously AI music, but that doesn't stop it from absolutely slapping. Like, these are legitimately good reimaginings, and it's crazy that you can still hear at least a piece of the original song in them outside of the lyrics. This is hilarious as a joke, but these are still awesome to listen to. RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Kyng - Mar 20th, 2026 One of my favourite tracks from this game (which I've been playing again recently). It certainly helps motivate me, especially when I'm half-asleep !
RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Moonface - Mar 24th, 2026 Amsterdam - Nothing But Thieves RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Abyss_Mage - Mar 25th, 2026 Track 2 from the new Haiduk album Archdevil [2026] RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Maniakkid25 - Apr 8th, 2026 One Winged Angel (Kirby Superstar soundfont) -- Jeff Ball Truly, the music signifying the death and destruction of the world. No, but seriously, this is the Algorithm Working As Intended. I'm just here to extend its reach. RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Moonface - Apr 10th, 2026 Wings of a Butterfly - HIM Anyone else remember this song from the 2000's? I forget the exact context but I was trying to think of songs about butterflies and this was one of the ones that came to mind, but @ShiraNoMai had no clue what this song was until I started playing it and then she remembered it.
RE: Current/Last Thing You Listened To? - Maniakkid25 - Apr 16th, 2026 Break Stuff -- Limp Bizkit Yes, I am unironically listening to a Limp Bizkit song. Don't care, because the song is fucking entertaining. If you've never heard it before, it is the epitome of a "rage room" song (which you'd kind of expect from the name). I mean, just look at this opening lyric. Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit Wrote:At Woodstock '99, Limp Bizkit started playing this track, and riots started. Seriously, if I ever experience a rage room -- a place you can go to to literally break stuff with a hammer and not be commiting a crime -- I want this song playing at full blast, or I will demand my money back. In short, it's adrenaline fuel, and I love it. Battlefield 6 did a promo with this song to advertise their multiplayer mode, and it's about as ridiculous as you could imagine. I love it! |
