@Maniakkid25: That song always comes to my mind whenever I'm having a day where shit just keeps going wrong in some way or getting on my nerves. Tongue

Kiss Kiss - Holly Valance

I've been searching for this pissing song for almost an hour because I heard the opening of it in the post office and then it got stuck into my head but not knowing what the song was actually called or by whom meant I had very little to work with. It didn't help the one in the post office was what I thought was a foreign language cover, but after all this I now know that was probably the original Turkish version of the song.

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Electricity

Just listening to a bunch of music I hadn't listened to in a while - and, this came on Tongue .

Manners (Album) - Passion Pit

I haven't listened to both to know for sure but I swear the Sleepyhead track on this album sounds different to the one on their Chunk of Change EP. Hmm

Butter-fly (Eurobeat Remix) -- Turbo (original by Koji Wada)

Okay, I'm going to attempt to explain what's going on here, but just understand that this is glorious.

Butter-fly by Koji Wada is the original opening theme to Digimon Adventure, the first season of Digimon. It is, simply put, an iconic intro song and it's a damned shame it wasn't transliterated for the US dub. Then again, given the problems translating music, I can understand why this wasn't done, but you could have at least used the instrumental, man!

Eurobeat is a genre of dance music that, surprise surprise, comes from Europe, largely Italy. However, its mostly remembered for its usage in the anime Initial D, which punctuated its racing scenes with various Eurobeat tunes, most famously Deja Vu by Dave Rodgers. This explains the image used for the video; it's an edited promo still of the hero and his car, a Toyota AE 86 Corolla Trueno.

So, some psycho decided to make a Eurobeat remix of an iconic anime intro, and the result is a glorious 5 minutes of music. I love everything about this. You've earned my sub, Turbo.

Since I'm less familiar with Butter-fly, as I watched the dub so have that opening in my head, it probably has less effect on me, but this newer Eurobeat version is very good. Yes the mix does make me think of the Deja Vu song, also makes me think of Sonic too. XD

While I was listening to the original Butter-fly then had to compare the dub intro and that, I like both, though I watched the proper intros with them and noticed how different or changed the sequences are in both openings. Huh.

For the this topic, I last listened to also the Butter-fly (Eurobeat Mix) as above a second time, to finish what I was checking out.

I'll never not wonder how much more time I'd have invested into MapleStory if not for the server region locking pushing me towards private servers so I could actually play with @Karo back in the day. Unsure

Bowsette -- The Chalkeaters feat. Meret Giddy and Nekro G

...Why am I back here? Let me try to explain...

So, a friend of mine on discord sent me this video, and the video link was auto-set up to make a mix playlist. So, when I clicked the link to check the comments, there was a playlist booted up, and guess what was the very next video?

I will say this: the joke is still very funny to me. But damn, is this song just aggressively okay. It really is just fine. What I'm mad about is I had succesfully not thought about this song for 3+ years; what do you mean it's the second video in an auto-generated playlist?! I know Mix is generated based on previous activity and stuff, but I scrubbed through that video once just to see the punchline! What do you mean?!
