Hmm. Perhaps these items you tend to see for dinner time at breakfast could be for night workers after their shift and have an option if they haven't had a cooked meal in their day yet? Yeah I would not expect there to be a steak dish at the time other than for that. XD
Hmm, perhaps. Especially because the place I saw steak offered was IHOP, which has a lot of places open 24 hours. Their dinner menu isn't 24 hours though, just the breakfast, so maybe steak is on there for the people who want a dinner option at a time when dinner isn't really being served. Hmm

One thing I'm trying to sort out is something to have for dessert on Christmas Eve.

Traditionally, my family has had Yule log - but, now that I'm no longer allowed dairy, I wouldn't be able to have a normal one. (Dairy-free yule logs do exist - but, at £10 a go, I'd have to *really* want one in order to get one. I am considering it, but still not sure if I want to pay that much!)

Another option is to make an apple crumble with added mincemeat. It sounds Christmassy, and should be nice (especially considering I've always enjoyed fruit crumbles!)
