I saw it says it was inspired by the classic Paper Mario games; would you say that's present as a whole or is it only in certain aspects such as the visuals? DeceasedCraft v6 Beta (PC) Well, there have been many, many hordes since my last post, and so far I've survived them all but @ShiraNoMai on the other hand has died to at least two of them. I've only died once which was to an enemy that spawns on ceilings and spreads smoke that ignites after a few seconds, and if you get caught in it it does a ton of damage. Unfortunately, you have to risk being in it to even take the enemy down because a lot of the time they spawn on ceilings in enclosed rooms where you have to go inside to even see them, which is what happened to me and how I ended up dying. I have died a few other times too, but that was due to being infected and not having a cure on me so I would just have Shira put me down like a rabid dog. ![]() The Binding of Isaac: Repentance (PC) This is where I'd talk about playing any of the daily runs, if I'd done any! Now I get this isn't to share what we didn't play, but I just needed to vent somewhere that today, yesterday, and Saturday, every daily run has been with Jacob and Esau. Three dailies in a row with this pair of shit rags!
RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Feb 6th, 2026 Railgrade I'm about halfway through the bonus campaign now. Most of the scenarios are quite easy (including this one), but they are introducing me to some new cargo types and industries (including nuclear power: the nuclear power station produces a *lot* of energy when it's given a steady supply of fuel rods, but the fuel rods needed to power it are very slow to make. I needed several centrifuges to create the fuel rods necessary to get a decent amount of energy out if it!) RE: Last Game You Played - Maniakkid25 - Feb 7th, 2026 The Legend of Dragoon (PSX via PS2) Yes, who is surprised I'm putting time into this game? But it's for a strange reason. See, there's a glitch I want to showcase, but to do that I need to be at the end boss of disc 2. I used to have a save on my PSX memory card at that point, but I must have deleted it without thinking. Oops. So, I now have to "speedrun" the game up to that point. And by "speedrun", I mean "shave maybe an hour off my usual playtime" because I am no good at speedrunning lol. I'm just ignoring the Stardust sidequest in order to do it. It's not like it'll matter; that sidequest only finishes at the end of disc 4, and its to fight a bonus boss that you cannot access otherwise. Also, in this playthrough, I figured out how to fight the Sandora Elite! He has an ability to make illusory clones of himself, and you can only damage the real one. I just found out the game does actually have a tell that lets you determine which one is the real one without having to guess, and I feel like such an idiot for not seeing it before. That boss is hard enough when you do know how to fight him, given he can nuke Lavitz for 40 damage (out of, like, 200 HP). Especially when he's the warm-up fight for Kongol! Yeah, if you've never played, you have to do back-to-back brutal bosses without a heal in-between. Even better, if you level up, your max HP goes up, but your current HP does not change, so you might end up walking into the fight on yellow (50% or less) health! Good thing the healing items heal by percentages rather than fixed amounts! I'd say it does remind me of Paper Mario sometimes, but with tougher puzzles to get through. I've been enjoying it and am now on like Chapter 3 atmo. :3 Dragon Quest VII Remaster [Switch]: I've gotten as far as getting the prince's daughter on my team and have been looking for some more tablets so I can do more time travel. RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Feb 13th, 2026 Railgrade I re-played one of the scenarios later in the game, where I had to produce and export 128 loads of Assembra. This is a sort of 'electronic liquid' that is one of the most advanced materials in the game - and, as such, the supply chain required to produce it is quite complex . Also, a lot of waste is produced along the way, so you need a lot of incinerators!Fortunately, I managed to shave a few minutes of my previous best time - going from 1 hour and 24 minutes to 1 hour and 18 minutes .
RE: Last Game You Played - Dragon Lord - Feb 16th, 2026 Nioh 3 [Demo] (PC) Just finished up the Nioh 3 demo on the last day to get the reward for completing it. Already had it cleared on PS5, but wanted to clear it on Steam too so I could get the bonus since I plan to get it on Steam at same point as well. Will be jumping into starting the full game on PS5 soon~ Mind Zero (Vita) My slow progress through this horrendous game continues. I'm finally in the last main-game dungeon. Just gotta finish this one and then do the 42-floor post-game dungeon and I'll be free from this game at long last... at least until I start the Steam version for the 100% there (pain). I really can't think of many games I played lately that I truly got so little enjoyment out of. Turns out I wasn't missing much having left this game sealed since 2013. Arknights: Endfield (PC) What can I say? It's Arknights, so it's absolute peak. Elden Ring: Nightreign (PC+PS5) And I continue to be hopelessly addicted to this game. I just cannot stop playing it, man. I need to get myself to stop being such a coward and actually play with random trios, because the game is starting to get a tad dull just playing solo and my the time between when my two friends who do play the game will play with me is pretty huge, so waiting on them is getting a bit tiresome. Just need to get over it and start playing with randoms so I can have fun with the multiplayer experience of this game. I will say though, the difference between playing solo or with randoms compared to playing with a friend (or friends) that you can voice chat while playing with is massive. Having the ability to verbally communicate while playing this game is so much fun and adds to much to the experience. Sadly I've only been able to experience duos with my friends since one is on PC and the other is on PS5 and there's no cross-play. Really wish I had a couple of friends that were on the same platform that I could play with a little more reliably to enjoy trios with voice comms. RE: Last Game You Played - Maniakkid25 - Feb 16th, 2026 Resident Evil Village (PS5) Watching a challenge run inspired me to finally give the game a try, and even though I said "NOPE" upon first sight of the Dimitrescu sister's abilities, I have been able to play a decent chunk into it. I've killed two of the sisters, and am running around getting chased by the big lady like Mr. X in RE 2. Fun. But honestly, the only reason I can do this is because I'm playing in third-person. They added third-person as paid DLC (which is bullshit), and I bought it because the set that had it and the epilogue DLC was on sale for half-off, lucky me. Third-person takes the edge off because you don't get as up close and personal with the sisters when they are in their invulnerable state. It still wigs me, don't get me wrong, but third-person does help. Soon enough, though, they'll all be dead, and I can finally feel confident knowing that I'll never have to do that again unless I replay the game on a harder difficulty (Standard has been killing me, but it's not nearly as hard as I was expecting). |
