Christmas is getting closer. How are you getting on with Christmas presents and any plans for Christmas day?

Edited the title to the year, as we've had Xmas topics in the past corresponding to the year it occurred.
So far nothing in cement planned yet for the day itself, as we don't know how well people are going to be for it. Only just got decorations down from our attic, I got a chocolate advent calendar, and got myself a red light tree decoration for my bedroom. I do know my brother and his wife are visiting Boxing Day, I hope to not work that day but if I have to I'll only do a 6AM-12PM shift, or have the day off and work New Year's instead.

I still need to do my Christmas shopping, since I really wasn't able to put much effort towards it due to my final semester requiring so much of my time and focus.
As for plans, the most I know is opening presents on Christmas Day at Shira's mothers place like we do every year. If anything else is going on I don't know of it or I've forgotten it.
I will say though that for once my job didn't schedule me for Christmas Eve or the day after Christmas, so I'll get to actually relax for once and enjoy it better whereas every other year I'm usually tired on Christmas Day and have to go to bed earlier for work the following day. I won't be surprised if my work changes their minds and tries to add me to the schedule but if they do I'm just telling them I can't work it and not going in.
Also very likely we won't put up a Christmas tree again this year, since it's already the 16th and the house needs to cleaned up before we could even put it up anyway. Considering that I'm getting sick with some sort of bad cold it'll be tough to probably even just put up some basic decorations not related to the tree, although I would still like to at least try that.

Cool you have three days off around Christmas next week, Moony. Sucks you're getting a cold though.
We got our tree up eventually, I hung up some chocolates on it, but I'm probably going to be the only one who eats them. They're from the local-ish German Market just outside our town and good quality.
Got...most of my presents bought though I'm only buying for a handful of people. I hope I don't get sick, got a slight sore throat coming on and had cold symptoms on and off but hasn't developed into a proper illness yet. I'm working everyday until Christmas Day now too, I agreed to work on the day off I was given, probably shouldn't have done but it's going to be a short shift anyway, I'll make sure it is as my other ones are going to be 8-10 hours.

Yes, Merry Christmas to all. Can't believe this year is almost over already.
Hope people here are spending the day with family and/or friends but if not, then have a great day anyway.
I worked everyday since last week, so got my first lie in, which didn't last long at all, been awake since 6:15am. I wasn't excited, I just couldn't fall back asleep. Annoyingly tried to get work out of my head which I didn't really get why my thoughts were on that. Got Wuthering Waves updated on my phone and laptop, I played that this morning so far. I suppose I got my first gift of winning Lynae from the convene. More things to do later like dinner, opening a few presents and play a board game.

I surprsingly haven't, not today anyway. We usually have one on in the living room with whatever is on TV but not this year. Instead we had a walk in the freezing cold and played Monopoly Ultimate Banking edition. Of course had a Christmas Dinner too.
I got chocolates, Celldweller's Satellites album, an A6 Sketchbook, diary, and slippers. I didn't want much.

As I somewhat expected, I didn't end up putting up any Christmas decorations this year. Not too fussed about it though, it was hard to get in the holiday mood when I was sick for the week and a half preceding it.

*So somehow Amazon sent us two copies of this game but we only bought one. We're gonna just return the extra and pretend we never got a second copy so we just get the money back which will make the copy we do keep essentially free.

I saw my brother on Boxing Day and received;
Scandroid - The Darkness And The Light album, plus Deadhouse Landing (Path to Ascendancy, Book 2) by Ian C. Esselmont.
The book reminds me I should get back to reading my books again, I have at least 3 or 4 book series onhold and they're quite similar in being Fantasy settings, so I've got try and remember which story is which.
I know there's one I've pretty much forgotten what is going on and who are the characters but one look at the page I'm on should remind me.That's a good bunch of gifts there Moony. Awesome you got those 3 games, I don't mind the Nate and Sully pins, I looked on the site and saw a Joel & Ellie pins that also look neat. Is that Chronos game Cronos: The New Dawn? Just when I went looking for it that name came up instead and thought yeah that's the game you'd play. Also wow on that mistake by Amazon, ha, good you're taking advantage of it.
