I've played some on Grounded 2 since I have Xbox gamepass and was able to play what's available atmo, which takes an easy 3 to 4 days to beat. I'd say to wait myself since it's still in early access.

Just curious if so as to whether anything feels better/improved over the first game in your opinion.
The one thing I do think based mostly on the marketing materials is that the scale of objects in this game seems to be even more off than it was in Grounded 1. No matter how often I see an overall shot of the park it just doesn't feel sized right. I'm not necessarily meaning it needs to be bigger than it is, rather I just find it lacks a sense of believability or something? Maybe on the ground it's less noticeable like it is in G1, because the only time the scale really stood out to me as being off in the first game was whenever I was very high up or getting wide shots that put items on opposite ends of the yard within the players view at the same time. The shed for example looks really off if you view it from an angle that lets you compare its size against the house.

Na I actually started with the second game. I've heard the first one is good. I'll see if it's on gamepass & give it a whirl. 👍

Grounded 2 | Beat the Heat Update Trailer
The Beat the Heat update is now live in Grounded 2, bringing a new boss fight, a new buggy progression system, and a wave of content, improvements, and community-requested features across the park.
King Dozer
A massive horned lizard boss fight that was a concept for the original game but ultimately got cut. Beating this boss fight will earn rewards such as new weapons and armor crafted from its scales, unique gear that reflects just how dangerous it is, and furniture and trophies to prove you took it down.
Park Expansion
There’s more happening across Brookhollow Park than ever before. A new point-of-interest landmark and anthill named the Sinkhole Anthill are appearing, along with new creatures, resources, and gear to chase down. You may also encounter O.G.R.R. creatures in the picnic and garden areas, adding new threats to familiar spaces.
Buggy Progression
Buggy Progression is here and it introduces a full system for upgrading your buggies and making them a core part of your build. Using Moldy Milk Molars, you can invest directly into your buggy’s growth: - Increase health, damage, and effectiveness
- Improve how they gather and support you
- Bring early buggies into tougher fights
You’ll also unlock mutations that reinforce each buggy’s role. Some are always active based on the creature, while others trigger from your actions, giving you more control in the park. The Buffin’ Barrel lets you evolve your buggy to the next tier, increasing its power and what it can gather so it scales with you instead of falling behind. And new additions like the Black Soldier Ant Buggy expand your options even further.
Playgrounds Mode
Playgrounds Mode is ready, giving you the tools to shape the park your way. Create arenas, challenges, puzzles, or anything you can imagine, then share your creations with the community. You can also dive into a growing collection of player-built worlds that are already live and waiting to be explored.
And More!
For everything else included in this update, I recommend reading the official update notes here: Grounded 2 | Beat the Heat Update
Ooh, it's cool they got to bring back a boss fight they weren't able to include in the first game! I haven't kept up on news about this game for a long while now so I have no clue what else has been added to the game.
