"Maybe" is the first word in the chorus of Wonderwall, so the joke is your singing the chorus. There are many variations on the joke, but all of them end with something like "I said 'Maybe'". That's it. That's the whole joke.

Ah, I don't know how I didn't catch that when I have all the lyrics for the song memorized.
Also I was curious if there was anything behind "Anyway, here's Wonderwall" and it's apparently just a meme because of how easy the song is to play on a guitar so any Tom, Dick, or Harry will tend to learn that when they want to show off with a guitar but don't really have any interest in music. On a side note, I saw a comment claiming that if you can play Wonderwall, you can play Boulevard of Broken Dreams without needing to do any extra work.

Kamelot - Epica album

More notably I'm playing Lost and Damned, and Mourning After more too. The whole album is brilliant, but these two in particular are better than I thought before, and they were already high up for me.
