Yes, it's the most horrible time of the year for retail workers (at least in the US), because the Christmas music is now in the playlist of songs that endlessly play on repeat. May you enjoy knowing Santa is watching you and that if it snows, let it snow, and all the classics of this time. Keep your sanity intact out there, fellow workers!
It's not truly Christmas radio hell until Mariah Carey shows up, and I've actually not heard any of her songs on the radio during Christmas for the last two years or so which feels so weird to me. LOL

It's a new week coming up but you too! ^_^

Yesterday was my senior seminar exhibition (hence my lack of being online at all yesterday) which was pretty much the last major thing for my degree, and it's finally done. I have one more minor project to turn in for another class and then, if no more bureaucratic garbage comes my way, I'll finally be free and have my degree. Ayaya

I, the Philosophical Sponge of Marbles, send you on a quest for the Golden Chewing Gum of the Whoop-A-Ding-Dong Desert under the sea!

I got one more shift before my "weekend" begins...as I work both days of the actual weekend. Hope things are good for all.

Ah that's great, Moony. So close now to the end, finally. XD

So, ever since coming to the west coast of Florida, I have been plauged with piss poor internet. I'm talking single-digit Megs/second. Combined with poor signal strength, and I have not been a happy gamer. Until a few days ago, I just thought it was the fact that I was isolated in the corner of the house, far away from the main router. But then, the main router I was connected to died, and after a little digging, I found out my main problem.

I was using USB.

See, none of the desktops I've had for a long while actually had a Wi-Fi adapter built in, so I've been running on USB adapters because I was cheap and didn't want to break the computer trying to get it in. Welp, no more. I bought a proper, PCie Wi-Fi adapter, and after having to plug it in twice because I thought the Bluetooth was a necessary part of it, I tested my speed.

Bam! 400 Megs/second down and up.

A Christmas fucking miracle, I'm sure! It's amazing what using the correct hardware can actually do, isn't it?
