Given it would be international news for that bridge to fail, since it being the tallest in the world makes it more of an attraction than a majority of bridges, I'd hope and assume that they ran every test they could more than once. For this particular test though, they had those trucks on the bridge for five days and there's no chance general public use would see more weight put onto that bridge than 96 trucks, so if anything was going to show up as a problem for that bridge I'd expect that test would be the one to have exposed it.
I also didn't know the area that new bridge is in has over half of the 100 tallest bridges in the world. So I guess they definitely have experience with making beefy bridges that have to really defy gravity.

I really hope for the sake of the people who will be using that bridge that it will be sturdy. China is known for being able to build things extremely fast, but on the flip side of that, they are also known for building things that easily crumble. I know I would probably never risk driving over a bridge that tall regardless of what country made it. I'll, uh, find another way around, thanks.

I'm trying to remember if it's China or somewhere else because I forget what country it is, but I know there's one where there are basically no building regulations and everything comes down to getting it done the fastest and cheapest, safety be damned. I get the feeling it isn't China though because if their buildings were utter shit I wouldn't expect their bridges to be much better, yet there's no news stories of their bridges failing which could be a notable story given how many of their bridges are in the top 100 tallest.
