Umamusume: Pretty Derby on Twitch because someone @ShiraNoMai follows decided to play it. Just now they did a race and they're using Haru Urara and no exaggeration, she just trailed behind the rest of the pack by a good 8+ seconds. What makes it so good though is the streamer is getting super into the races as if this was someone who had bet real money on a real horse race.

Currently watching tennis at Wimbledon - but before that, I watched the British Grand Prix - where something quite special happened.

Nico Hülkenberg got his first-ever podium finish. He'd been in the sport since 2010, and he showed great promise early in his career - but, things never fell his way, and he never won a race (or even finished in the top 3). It became something of a meme among F1 fans that he never finished on the podium.

But today, on this 239th attempt, he finally put all of that to rest, by finishing 3rd! I never thought I'd live to see it - but I'm glad I have.

Ooh sweet! I love it when someone who is a really big underdog manages to pull through.  I wonder if anywhere was doing bets for whether he'd get podium and someone managed to make ridiculous bank on it or not.

Spy x Family Season 1 Eps 1-5

Wanted something to watch while I ate lunch, usually I just put on random YouTube videos or shorts that I don't really pay attention to, so checked out what was on Prime. Saw this had 13 days left of availability on Prime, and haven't watched an anime properly in years. Was meant to watch just 2 eps to begin, but sat through five episodes in the end. Enjoying this so far.

Dang, I remember starting this anime and then just... stopped. It wasn't due to any faults with the show; it was just at a time where I was losing interest in watching a large amount of things and have yet to really care enough to go back to any of them.


Watching Twitch right now of someone playing through The Golden City for the first time. So far most of the interactions have been "talk to NPC" followed by "shoot the NPC to see what consequence happens and then reload the save".

I'm sure there would've been: there usually is one, even for the most improbable results!

Anyway, I watched the US version of The Traitors. I'm starting with Season 2 (because that's what one of my friends recommended): it's in the same castle as the UK version, with quite similar challenges, which I'm not sure I like TBH: as great as the UK version is, I would've preferred something a little more distinct from it!

With that being said, I am enjoying the show - and I definitely intend to continue it to the end of the season.

I've been on a bit of a pen tester kick for the past few months, watching videos about security failings and breaking into places for the betterment of that workplace, rather than to actually steal stuff. This video is the first one I've seen that really attacks this sort of problem from another angle. It gives the examples, and then examines the exact chain links that lead to that security failure (or success, in one very heartwarming case).

Speaking of, I need to buy a traveler's hook. Not for any good reason; if I get locked out, I need a way back in...
