The 1% Club: Soccer Aid Edition
A lot of the puzzles were football-themed, but they were still basic logic puzzles that required no knowledge of football (at least, beyond the very basic common knowledge that almost everyone has, even if they aren't into football ).
I didn't get the 1% question right this time - although, my dad did!

Sam Altman is a sociopath. This video is basically about how he staged a coup against his own board of directors so they couldn't do the exact thing the company was designed to do. It's a wild story from beginning to end, and I highly recommend you watch and pay attention to all of it.

Norway vs. France at the World Cup.
I was supporting Norway, since my grandmother's from there. Sadly for me, France won 4-1... but happily for me, Norway are already through anyway!

I've been partly following the World Cup, mostly following by using the Superbru app, my brother recommended it to myself and sister and we're predicting scores. I caught a couple live on TV, had that Norway v France on. I was rooting for Norway to win, or draw as I predicted a draw. Darn.
England, USA, Japan and Norway are through which I'm happy about, hope they make it through to next stage, although Japan is up against Brazil, so uh yeah

Yeah... England, Japan, and Norway are all in that same section of the draw with Brazil. Maybe one of those teams will be able to overcome the Seleção!
Anyway, the last thing I watched was highlights of the Austrian Grand Prix (which I hadn't been able to see live, as I was out of the house attending the local board games group). It was a bit spoiled for me by the fact that I accidentally found out the result before watching - but still, it wasn't a bad race!

Haven't watched a Dead Meat video in a long while but I always love being exposed to inventive horror movie kills not because I'm a sicko, but because it's a genre that relies on coming up with new stuff if it wants to actually remain scary to viewers. That said, I have to agree with the kill featured from Final Destination 2 with the opening highway crash scene being one that I can't imagine any viewer not being more cautious on the road after seeing it. Even though it's far more dramatic than what I expect most highway crashes would be in reality and still to this day I have never seen a log truck in real life (likely because England would never fit one on the road and Florida isn't exactly logging country), I think it's knowing that any singular part of that crash could happen is what makes it play on the mind.
