And while it wasn't a "purchase" so to speak, I downloaded Stardew Valley for PS4 since it was one of September's PS+ free games. I don't know if I'm really going to like it, because I'm really not big on farming sims, but after watching a video of someone doing the Platinum for the game, I kind of have the urge to go for the platinum myself now. So I figured if I want to go for the platinum trophy for it, no better way to do it than getting the game for free.

What made you go for the Deluxe Edition on Steam over PS5?

Despite farming being a core component of Stardew, I'd say it doesn't really dominate how you spend time in the game. For me, I'd usually only need to deal with crops and animals first thing in the morning, and then the rest of the day can be spent doing anything else. Normally I always have time to go mining, which is a very good way to rack up money in the early game to buy/craft stuff that makes farming a lot more efficient and I've never even bothered to do any farming at the start of the game until I've done enough mining to make that aspect quick to set up and manage as soon as I start doing it.

GreenManGaming (a Steam endorsed third-party seller of Steam keys) was selling the Deluxe Edition of FFT for 22% off normal price, so I ended up being able to get it for a little less than $50. PS5 I went with a physical copy of course, so I couldn't get the deluxe edition there since it is digital only.

Good to know about Stardew. Not sure when I'll get around to giving it a try, but hey can't complain when you get the game for free, haha.

I've been waiting to get the Toukiden games forever on Steam, but they never went below $30 in sales. They finally went a little lower, and while paying $20 for each of them was still a bit more than I would have liked, it's the lowest price I've seen them in several years on Steam, so I just decided to go ahead and bite the bullet. The DLCs for both games were on sale for really cheap too, so I just decided to gobble them all up while I was at it.

Lots of good dungeon crawlers for sale too. Demon Gaze was one of my favorite games on Vita, and it was on sale for $10 so I nabbed it. I have it on PS4 to play too, but I loved Demon Gaze enough that I will play both versions of EXTRA no problem. Mind Zero, while being a terrible game (yes, same Mind Zero that I'm currently playing on Vita after 12 years, it released on Steam just this past year), was only $3 so I figured why the hell not? Dungeon Travelers isn't the same Dungeon Travelers that's on Vita I believe, so that should be something new to me and was also only $10.

I've had Yohane on my wishlist for a long time now, and I've read that it's a really good Metroidvania. It was on sale for $15 which is the lowest price I've ever seen it, so I figured might a well go ahead and grab it now.

I was happy to see I was able to get Cat Quest III for under $10, just having finished the first two recently and being unsure how long it'd be until I got around to getting the third game.

Probably spent a little more money than I should have in these sales, but oh well, haha. At least I'll be able to keep myself busy with these games for a long, long while (especially Toukiden: Kiwami. Took me around 250-300 hours to Platinum that game on PS4).

A LOT OF THINGS, but I'll focus on one game for right now, because the pre-order went through, and I am confused by what is happening surrounding it: Digimon Story Time Stranger (PS5)

See, I pre-ordered the super duper physical Collector's Edition, and the receipt -- which I'm staring at RIGHT NOW -- says that the shipping will take 7-10 days to reach me. Which is understandable; you gotta ship it from somewhere and it takes time to move around the country, after all. But because the game releases tonight, they gave me a tracking number for the package. I type it into UPS, and UPS is saying it's going to reach my house TODAY by 5 PM. Needless to say, I'm pleasantly surprised... but WAT?!
